La Pasion Paso Finos is a full service Paso Fino farm that
is
located in central Alabama. Our goal is to produce quality bred Paso Fino horses that are very competitve
in the show ring, but are gentle enough for the amateur owner to enjoy outside of the show ring.
Our horses are trained on the trails so that they can become something other than a show horse.
Some of our bloodlines include Monarca de Besilu, Chucuano, Resorte, Capuchino, Juan Juan, El Chino, El Classico,
Hilaches, Profeta, Bochica, and Plebeyo. We currently have two stallions standing at stud,
at least a dozen broodmares, and numerous other Paso Fino stock.
I have owned, ridden,
and showed all of my life. I began my show career in a miniature horse named “Tiensy”
in the line class. I showed in western pleasure, equitation, etc throughout my school years. Later I
began the timed event classes and ran barrels in the rodeos for several years. Around 1998 I was
introduced to the Paso Fino by a special man named Richard Kottmann. I owe him for getting me started
into this business. We have been blessed with several National titles since we began. I have never felt
so passionate about one particular breed like I do the Paso Fino breed. After one ride I
was sold! The Paso Fino has the ride of the cadillac with the responsiveness of the sports car. If you
would like more information about this breed, please feel free to contact us. We would love
to introduce you to our passion at La Pasion Paso Finos!
